Porras was a Laidlaw bus driver who drove a special bus that picked up dependent adult passengers and delivered them to various day care centers and then returned them home at days end. He occupied a position of trust with these vulnerable people. Porras was sexually abusing some of the female passengers. His method included keeping one last female passenger on the bus and driving her to a secluded area behind a strip mall and engaging in sexual relations with that last woman. These victims could not consent because they had no capacity. The bus driver knew they could not have consented due to the victims lack of mental capacity. He pleaded guilty to his sexual crimes and was sentenced to three years in prison.
