Timothy Lester and David Greenly, who operated a carpet and air duct cleaning business, improperly removed asbestos ducting attached to heating and air conditioning units.  Defendants often dragged the asbestos laden material through the homes or left the material exposed in the attic.   In some instances, they disposed of the asbestos material in dumpsters located on a college campus.  None of the proper containment procedures was followed and exposed the public to dangerous asbestos.  Many of the victims were elderly. Some of the victims paid for work which was never performed.  The defendants were convicted of felony charges and ordered to serve jail time.  They are ordered to pay all 34 victims restitution.
