The college-aged defendant met the teenage victim in an Internet chat room. She met him in a public place and he drove her to a secluded area in Irvine. After tying and binding her and mutilating her face by carving a swastika, he repeatedly raped and assaulted her. The defendant  is serving multiple life terms.
